Wase Rock also known locally as Gwauron Dutse (Hausa) is a massive dome-shaped inselberg rising sharply from the flat plains of Wase Local Government Area. This ancient volcanic plug soars approximately 298?m (978?ft) above the surrounding terrain and reaches 543?m (1,781?ft) above sea level
