Gidan Madakin Bauchi is a 19th-century architectural and historical gem in Bauchi State—a beautifully preserved palace of the Emir’s senior official. Built by the legendary Babban Gwani, it stands out for its craftsmanship, leather-inscribed doors, traditional mosque hall, and enduring cultural importance. Today, it’s maintained as a national monument and continues to receive thoughtful restoration to preserve its heritage.
